Archie Driver
Archie had been on our radar throughout the planning process, we loved his submission and its focus on live music. With Camden having such a rich music history, it was perfect. We liked the complexity of the piece, not many street artists focus in on the minute details like Archie does. Attempting a stencil as intricate as this is a bold move, but Archie has smashed it.
TALES OF LIVE MUSIC
I wanted to make a piece about Camden’s eclectic music scene. It’s what I miss most about pre covid Camden and I'm just waiting for the day we can get back to going out and seeing live music. It is what I’m most excited about when everything opens up.
I’ve had lots of conversations recently about going to live music, I miss it so much.
For this piece I focused on making it look like a Lino cutting. The process was fidgety but fun. Firstly, I made a Lino print which i used use that as the basis of my stencil, from there I worked into it free hand. I would also like to thank Megan for helping me make this piece a reality.
