WHO ARE WE
Camden Open Air Gallery uses the art’s to breathe life into urban environments. While many talented artists remain undiscovered, we're dedicated to spotlighting their brilliance. COAG stands as a catalyst for emerging creatives, rejuvenating spaces and unveiling their true character. While our journey began in Camden, our vision spans throughout London. Using Camden Town as our proving ground. Our goal is to scout, mentor, and incubate the next wave of creatives, from artists to designers, entrepreneurs to musicians, helping to break down the barriers they face to create the next generation of high street brands.
Camden Open Air Gallery is the brainchild of Camden Native, Finn Brewster Doherty. Who grew up running around the Camden Brasserie, run by his mum from the 1980s to the early 2010’s. After graduating from University in 2019, Finn couldn't help but notice Camden's has become a cliché of its former self, Resting on the laurels of its previous famous inhabitants & its reputation as a cool hipster hangout in the early 2000’s. Camden hasn’t done anything new.
The once-diverse retail landscape, now feels monotonous, offering little to its community and the broader London populace. ButOur mission is to resurrect Camden's authentic spirit, drawing from its history of housing unconventional brands but reimagining it for today’s world.
We champion budding artists, musicians, creatives and entrepreneurs, crafting a dynamic and singular hub which focuses on propelling the careers of what we foresee as the next wave of high street innovators whilst shining a spotlight back on Camden. We want to make Camden epicentre for the next generation of creatives and out of the box thinkers to home their skills and launch their careers.
